I have lots of support experience both in a 'hands on' capacity from when I was a Carer & as now as an Area Manager. I am passionate about people being able to remain in their own homes whatever the complexity of their health and support needs. I understand the importance to the person to continue to live at home and the positive impact it has on their emotional wellbeing. I am a kind, patient & calm person & understand that when supporting individuals it is crucial to maintain independence as driven by the individual. I support in a person-centred way ensuring that the person is able to maintain autonomy in their own lives. I am a good driver, I love to cook, I have a a good sense of humour & am adaptable & reliable. I am able to act on my own initiative & make good decisions. I am recently widowed & looking for a role that is contracted rather than zero hours. I would offer dedicated service working hard to enable individuals to have a good quality of life in their own home.
