I have experience of caring for my mother that has MS and also my grandmother that has dementia. My main goal when looking after them is ensuring that they are in control, what I mean by this is ensuring they know what is taking place at all times, making sure they maintain their dignity.
Working with people within the health and social care sector in general is a very challenging and demanding. However, I feel the rewards are immense.
