I am 51 and currently worked for the last 2 years as a live in carer employed by the clients father who got match funding with Barnet council. I feel under paid and over worked, I am contracted for 18 1/2 hours per week but can eat this time up in one day, I get very little time off during the day and work 7 days a week on hand 24hours a day with time off every six to eight weeks. I want better working conditions.
