English Ex-teacher. six years live in care experience which includes severely disabled and Alzheimer’s sufferers. Ex-Foster Carer, cared for mother at home during her last two years. Retired too early as very fit and active lady. Moved to Spain seven yeas ago and love it, but I also miss the U.K! Live in care seems a perfect compromise.
Having now spent a few years working as a Live in Carer, I absolutely love the job! I have experience in dealing with badly disabled ladies using all Mechanical equipment to aid movement between bed and chair. I also have experience of couples, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s sufferers, so can offer many care abilities in a calm, friendly, and professional way.
In preference to settings, I do prefer rural to town, though not really an issue as I have my own transport.
If you can accommodate my requirements you will not be sorry. I look after your home as if it were my own, and am a good cook, baking a speciality. All types of tastes catered for especially traditional English cooking. Highly intelligent, I love to stimulate conversation. I am very patient and kind. Also an animal lover, happy to care for your pets too. I also love many different kinds of crafts. While renovating my home in Spain I am making good use of these. Especially mosaic where I am using Claris Cliff designs to enhance my circular window. Glass on glass makes a good alternative to lead work.
