My name is Catarina Neves and for the last 4 ½ years I’ve been living and working as a House Coordinator at a Therapeutic Residential Community for people with special needs in the North of Portugal (Casa de Santa Isabel).
I am also currently finishing a 4 ½ years course on Curative Education and Sociotherapy, a Steiner based approach on working with people with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
I have been working with people with special needs since I was 21 years old. From a very young age, I have always been curious about this world and I have always known I wanted to work in this area.
I have worked in Greece in a Care Home and in Madrid also in a Care Home and planning/coordinating leisure activities at the leisure department.
