Hi, I am qualified carer with over 4 years experience dealing with a wide range of conditions.
I have a very caring nature, positive attitude and a real talent for problem solving . I am articulate and professional and experienced at liaising with outside agencies. I have an up to date enhanced DBS, full driving license and car. I have carers insurance, I'm fully trained in all aspects of care and hold a Care certificate.
My care experience is with dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson’s, stroke, heart conditions, deafness, partial blindness and palliative care.
My duties included personal care, catheter care, mobility,medication,cooking, cleaning and most importantly being a cheerful and helpful companion to my clients .
I also have previous experience working with adults with learning difficulties in a small residential home and unpaid care experience for a family member who suffered from a stroke and cancer. I have experience and training in medication, moving and handling, catheter care, food hygiene, first aid, health and safety and control of hazardous substances.
I enjoy making arts and crafts in my spare time, listening to classical music and gardening. I adore animals especially dogs and I love to learn about different cultures and connect with people.
