My name is Paulene and I am a highly experienced about to be retired care home manager, speciality dementia. (Bradford Uni trained) Ex nurse, post graduate diplomas, dementia coach and dementia friend.. my role is to promote individuality, independence, fun and enjoyment in life. There is no challenge I have not come across in any of the opportunities I have had in getting to know and care for those living with dementia. Although not "live in" I live at the residents home caring for them on a daily basis
I am not on the Care certificate because as a qualified trainer I teach it and I am registered with Skills for Care
I am seeking emergency respite live in care or perhaps when a regular career goes off sick. I am self employed
