I have worked in the care industry for a number of years, I am a qualified social worker by background so have a lot of knowledge and experience of the services available and the many different ever changing needs of individuals. I enjoy this work and have pride and compassion in the care that I deliver. I find it fantastically rewarding and always have a positive and understanding approach. I have also cared for my father after he was diagnosed with cancer so understand the importance of person centred care. I believe I am trustworthy, hardworking, reliable, down to earth and have a great sense of humour, I understand the importance of ensuring every individual is treated with privacy, dignity and respect and offered day to day opportunities.
In my spare time I am a online tutor specialising in Dementia, Challenging Behaviours, End of Life Palliative care. I also enjoy reading, spending time with my family and grandchildren.
