I am an experienced carer and a good family cook. I am also prepared to undertake domestic duties.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Before coming to Britain I studied in the USA and has taught English at Budapest University. I have extensive experience as a Live-in carer and has experience supporting frail elderly, often with Dementia or at the end of their lives. My manual handling skills are “Full plus second hoist”, this means that I can help you with most aspects of moving around, repositioning and personal care needs, if you are unable to get out of bed and can also assist with hoisting if needed.
TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS I have completed my NVQ2 in Health and Social Care and the Oxford Aunts Induction Programme which includes Duty of Care, Working in a Person-Centred Way, Communication, Safeguarding Adults, Equality and Diversity, Privacy and Dignity, Manual Handling Theory and Practical, Food and Hygiene, Infection Control, Medication Theory and Practical, Ageing, Dementia, Stroke, Diabetes, Anxiety, Depression and Bereavement, following CQC guidelines.
