My name is Rachel and I would like to apply for the position of live-in carer in London. I believe I have the experience, qualification, passion, and skills to enable me to perform the role of a professional carer to a high standard. In my previous role as a caregiver, I was responsible for caring and supporting patients with dementia, this involves developing personalized tailored support programme. I also managed various household chores like cleaning, shopping, cooking, ironing, bedding, laundry, administering medication, outing, and travelling. I love to care for people, its a passion I have, it makes me feel fulfilled that I had contributed something good and make the lives of the people I take care with a better one. Before I started working in adult care, I have worked in childcare for 13 years. I have cared for children with different types of disability, which has helped me to look at life in a different way.
I am a very adaptable person, I use my initiative most times, need little or no supervision. I am patient (most important skill), I am safety conscious, good listener, very organized and clean, and I have a good eye for attention to detail.
Looking forward to working with you.
