I have a BA(Ed) degree as well as an Honours Degree in Education. I have also achieved a Management Development Certificate (with distinction) and Signature Level 3 qualification in British Sign Language amongst other qualifications.
I have 33 years of work experience of which 22 years in mid and senior management. I have started off my career teaching and managing (teacher, senior lecturer, head of division, strategic manager), then started my own award-winning business promoting the teaching of British Sign Language in Scotland and I have recently taken a career break in which I do live-in care work for elderly clients with Dementia/Alzheimer’s, blindness and deafness in the Greater London area.
I am confident that I have the skill-set, knowledge, communication and people skills, drive and enthusiasm to make a success of this position. I am innovative, passionate about delivering exceptional care, extrovert and confident and hope to add value to your organisation.
