I am a friendly, bubbly individual with 2 years experience caring for a family member with schizophrenia. In addition, I have experience mentoring mental health service users. I currently volunteer at Cambridge University Hospital, looking after the elderly, particularly those with Alzheimers and dementia, this involves speaking to them and they providing meals at lunchtime.
Unfortunately, I have not yet obtained a driving licence and realise this puts me at a disadvantage but I am working hard at it and can only hope that my dedication shines through and I am selected as a live in carer nonetheless.
