I have over seven years of experience in caring for young people and adults with various difficulties including physical and mental disabilities, stroke, multi neuron disease, spinal injury and partial paralysis, dementia and alzheimer's disease, terminal illnesses, old age and end-of-life. I have also been trained to care for all these difficulties. In addition, before going into care work I adopted a son, during which time I received rigorous training on adopted children which gave me a more in-depth appreciation of vulnerability and I developed more patience and empathy for disadvantaged people. As a person, I gain fulfilment in making disadvantaged people's lives more comfortable. I am well educated up to university level and have done management jobs before changing into care. I am open minded and able to interact well with people at all levels.
