In total I have worked for almost 15 yrs as a health care assistant in hospitals , nursing home and as a live in carer for 4 years and thoroughly enjoy it. I recently completed a year's course equivalent to NVQ a course in college Access to health which has helped me with a better understanding of Dementia and other mental health illnesses.
