                  Dear Sir/Ma'am,
I do not have any professional live in care experience however, my Step Father has Parkinson's Disease and I help my mother to care for him in our home. I also take care of him alone when my mother is away or unable to do so.
I understand the importance of maintaining ones dignity and respect whilst caring, through experience with my own Step Father, and I have now discovered that I want to go into Caring as a career. I also believe that a good sense of humour, and knowing when to use it with each individual, is a very important part of caring. I believe the purpose of caring is to enable people to live a "normal life" as individually as possible, not to make them feel they are incapable.
I am currently in Brazil on an exchange programme so I am only contactable through email, skype, whatsapp and facetime. I return to England on 22/06/17 and I am available to start work very soon after.
