I have 35 years of experience in working with the elderly and infirm. I enjoy the role of helping and assisting people unable to cope with a daily routine themselves. I am physically fit and have dealt with some challenging circumstances including death. However, I am not deterred by these things and strive to provide the best possible support to those that I work with. I possess a good sense of humour which is vital at times as well as a high level of patience.
I enjoy providing activities that stimulate, including taking clients/patients on outings and am accustomed to transporting them to their medical appointments and ensuring that their medications are taken correctly and timeously. I have a full un endorsed drivers licence and am very dog friendly.
I communicate well with others and enjoy spending time interacting with people in their home as well as visitors/relatives who visit with my clients/patients. I am well organised and can multi task.
