I am a 40 year old Hungarian woman, have been living in the UK since 2007. I have started my care career last year December. Currently I work at the National Autistic Society as an autism support worker. I completed my trainings, even the Studio 3 that is a 3 days course on managing challenging behaviour with a low arousal approach.
In my job I support two autistic brothers, one of them has epilepsy too, in a supported house.
I assist them with personal care, administering medication, household tasks like cleaning, cooking and shopping, activity planning and paper work.
