I'm new to PA work, but I have ten years experience as a Health Care Assistant, working in a mental health hospital and for an agency. While working for the agency I have gained experience in many different fields of hospital and care work, learning how to adapt quickly to new challenges and picking up a variety of skills along the way. I feel drawn to PA work because it seems like a way that I can use theses skills and channel my extensive experience into making a positive difference in the lives of those I assist, as well as being a way to hone my existing skills and pick up new ones as I adapt to new challenges and working environments.
