You're looking for someone who can show dedication and empathy? Well, my late grandmother was diagnosed with dementia at a very young age. She lived with it for 34 years before she passed away. I used to look after her from when I was 5 years back in Rwanda until the age of 12 when I came to the Uk. and from the age of 19, I often went back a forth to look after her she got sicker and sicker until she died.
Since then I have dedicated a lot of my free time to helping out at charities whenever I find myself in Africa.
Working as a care worker will not only give me great experience doing it full time, but also give me unexplainable joy knowing that am making a difference in someone's life, even if the difference is as small as putting a smile on one's face.
This opportunity would mean the world to me.
