I am a naturally caring,patient,kind,respectful & hardworking & do not have to pretend to be any of these just to suit the job. I enjoy being able to make a difference to someone's life, positively,& working in care has allowed me to do so & receive it also. It has taught me to be appreciative of the little things in life & those around.My passion in care began in 2008 after loosing my grandmother to cancer. In 2012 I began to pursue & work in care professionally.I have worked as a support worker & weekend live in carer, with clients with learning disabilities,then I moved on to working as a live in carer in April 2014 till now. I have experience in working with clients with Learning Disability, ME,MS,Spinal Injury, Stroke,minor Dementia & ADHD.I also gained skills in aiding medication, personal care,moving & handling,house keeping, administration,attending appointments & scheduled activities/events.I enjoy working in care,& thus far, it has helped me to continue broadening my skills.
