I have worked in a nursing home for over one and a half years. My job role is a kitchen and care assistant. I have always enjoyed working in care and with the elderly. I am applying for this position as I would like new opportunities and a change of scenery. I understand that each resident has their own type of chosen care. I understand about privacy and dignity of each resident. I understand that each health care setting has their individual rules and regulations that must be followed. I have had training including: health and safety, fire safety, COSHH, infection control, person centred care, safeguarding vulnerable adults and the new Icare system. I am a hard working and reliable person. I am a friendly, approachable and caring person. I am open minded to new ideas. I can work well as part of a team and independently. I can adapt the new working environments. I am able to follow given tasks that have been assigned to me, to the best of my ability.
