I am currently working as a carer for a care agency. I am also a Registered Nurse. I live in Brighton I've had training in caring for the elderly also dementia sufferers, and have been trained in manual handling. I have a food hygiene certificate. Although I have never lived in as a carer before, I did live and care for my father who had vascular dementia for two years. I am competent in administering medications, have experience in catheter and personal care. Am happy to carry out domestic duties. I believe myself to a trustworthy competent, confident, caring empathetic person. I am a married lady and have 2 grown up children and 2 dogs. My hobbies include cooking, reading, walking and knitting.
