I am 67 yo semi retired after selling my company in April last year. I have been encouraged to take up caring by my family because they believe I am very patient and understanding with older or sick people.
I also am at a stage where I would like to give something back to the community and having seen many cases of the poor support some elderly people are getting I feel I could make a difference to someone's life if given the opportunity.
I am fit, well resented and honest.
I have had very little experience except for looking after a friend who was bed ridden for 6 months in which time I took care of her completely.
I would reguire training but would look forward to taking some advanced courses in the future.
I live in Buckinghamshire and am prepared to travel anywhere as I have my own car.
