My name is Kelvin, I am 58 years of age and in excellent health. I first fell into care work several years ago, when my late mother was not only a nurse for almost 30 years, but both of my parents also ran a small residential care home in Cornwall for several years.
I would often assist them with helping some of their resident clients doing household chores, as well as driving people around and engaging in conversation with mostly the elderly.
Overall, I would estimate that I have about 5 to 6 years care experience, and have dealt with not only parkinsons, but also dementure as well as cerebral palsy, of which I looked after two gentlemen with cerebral palsy individually, for at least two years.
Naturally of course, I would do all the usual household chores, such as cooking meals, shopping, washing, ironing, as well as taking them both out in a specially adapted vehicle for trips and holidays etc,.
I am easy-going and am available for care work almost immediately.
