Hello I'm Gaynor and I've worked in care for over 20 years looking after people in their own homes. I am at present doing live in care looking after a 27 year old woman.
I've worked with the elderly, MS patients, dementia patients, terminally ill patients.
I've dealt with personal care, medication, food preparation, social outgoings, companionship, appointment making, shopping, cleaning etc.
I can use different types of hoists. I know how to do catheter care and stoma care.
I have recently done an epilepsy course on how to deal with a seizure. I have NVQ level 2.
