I am a qualified Health care Worker. I have a First Aid Certificate, Home Based
Care 1 & 2 with various exposure to different fields in the Health and Social
profession and a valid code C driver’s license. I also did Social Auxiliary Work
(pending results). I have knowledge of the developmental stages of children,
White paper on families and legislation and regulations pertaining to the public
service, administration, and various acts within the social work profession. I
have good interpersonal, administrative, written, and oral communication
skills; I have been exposed to working with elderly people including the ones
with Dementia, assisting them with personal hygiene, meals, and mobility. I am
able to network with other departments to improve service delivery; I’m
capable of using my own discretion in terms of decision making and problem
solving. I am comfortable using various computer programs, I am multilingual
and have excellent working relations with the organizations. I manage and build
positive relations with individual clients, families, and communities because of
the integral part they play in implementation of service delivery objectives
within the community.
