Hi My name is Lorna I am now a single and 51 years young.
Having raised my own family, and now living on my own, I have come to a stage in my life where I am looking for a change of career.
Having also looked after my father for 3 years, who recently died from cancer, I have decided that I would like to go into the Care Industry.
Compassionate and naturally caring and kind in nature, I am a happy, sociable person, who is also supportive, flexible, and hardworking. I have a great work ethic and do not like to let people down.
I am keen and willing to undertake any necessary training, and am willing to re-locate if needed. I am polite, friendly and courteous at all times, particularly when dealing with the more challenging persons as I recognise that how I deal with a situation can always influence the behaviour of others.
Having seen the bad press from some carers on the news, which really upsets me. Knowing that one day I too may need help, I know I can make a difference
