I have been a volunteer carer for the last year since I have been livimg in the UK. I have learnt how to deal with an elderly person who needs a lot of help with mobility, personal hygiene, taking medication, feeding. I have got experience to use sliding sheet, Sara steady, Oxford hoist as well. I have learn about incontinence care and how to prevent pressure sores if avoidable.
I do my best to provide a person centred care which would make clients satisfied.
I am keen on having a qualification in care, possibly nursing sometime.
