I have taught English as a foreign language for more than 20 years and I wanted a change. Presently I am working in a nursing home for people with Alzheimer's disease and dementia. I like my job very much because , on the one hand my professional history helps me to deal with the residents with a lot of patience and understanding, and on the other hand, each day is a new challenge in order to find new ways of communication and understanding the causes of their distress and finding effective ways to keep the reassured.
