Hello, my name is Maddie Purcar, and I have been working as a live-in carer for over 15 years.
I chose this profession because I value helping people remain comfortable, independent, and respected in their own homes.
The most rewarding part of my work is knowing that I can make a genuine difference to someone's quality of life while offering reassurance to their family.
My experience includes supporting clients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, diabetes, stroke recovery, reduced mobility, and palliative and end-of-life care needs.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, reading, spending time in nature, and personal development.
