My name is Wasantha Hettiarachchi. Originally I am coming from Sri Lanka and since 2011 I am living in the UK.
Caring for others has been my passion and life purpose since my childhood. I think caring is a major part of the safety net in the society for people who have different life needs and I am very happy to be a part of the safety net. Until I moved to the UK I worked as a Senior Programme Coordinator with World Vision Lanka. In 2011 I got the opportunity to come to the UK and work with people who are going through life crisis in their life. The Pilsdon community has helped me to rediscover myself, to sharpen my skills in caring for others and for myself. Now it’s time for me to move to another place and I am available from 1st week of September.
