In my role as a Complex Care Assistant, I supported individuals with complex health conditions to live independently. My responsibilities included administering medication, prompting the use of inhalers, monitoring for seizures and responding promptly to changes in presentation, as well as maintaining detailed and accurate records.
I also have previous Personal Assistant experience. I supported clients with a spinal injury. My responsibilities included support with personal care, medication and supporting them in the community.
My social work background has given me helpful insight into the issues vulnerable people face and potential solutions. I have learned to recognize safeguarding concerns, manage risk and work effectively with people to reach their goals. I am comfortable working independently and always work in a respectful way to others.
I am a calm, conscientious and dependable person, and I enjoy helping people live as independently as possible. I hold a full UK driving licence and can drive both manual and automatic cars.
I live in the West Midlands, but I am willing to work Nationwide.
My hobbies include: Internet surfing, Knitting, Sudoku, games and puzzles of a problem-solving nature, Watching films and going to the cinema.
