I am a 46 year old marine biologist/conservation educator with 6 years domiciliary care and 4 years live-in care experience. I also studied 2 years general nurse training at Leeds Metropolitan University. I am looking for a live-in carer position in any part of the UK. I am very caring, compassionate and I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As my time as a marine biologist, I have been responsible for large teams of people, which has also helped me to develop my organisational and project management skills. I am extremely patient and am able to keep a clear head and remain calm in stressful situations. I am passionate about taking care of animals, small children and vulnerable adults and I am flexible and can adapt to any situation. I am hardworking and am not daunted by the idea of working long hours for weeks at a time. I feel fulfilled when I am taking care of people and giving back to the community and the environment.
