I am a Male Carer living in the Hampshire Area. I have around 10 Years care experience working with a diverse array of complex mental and physical disabilities. I began working as a Live-In Carer and transitioned into Domiciliary Care. I undertake frequent training in order to remain up-to-date with current legislation and safety requirements, and also to continue developing my skills professionally within my role.
I have worked with the following conditions and complex needs:
Catheter Care, Peg-Feeding, Hoisting, Wheelchair Users, Moving & Handling, Palliative Care, Epilepsy, Non-Verbal / Communication Difficulties, Dementia, Mental Health, Muscular Dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) , Cerebral Palsy, Osteoarthritis, Stroke, Paralysis and much more.
I have an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, I can provide excellent references upon request also.
I am a keen runner, cook, and love reading & travel.
