I have been a carer/support worker for the past 6 years and currently working as a live in carer for the past one and half years. I am currently doing my QCF Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care, Adults. I am passionately interested in working with the elderly, frail, learning disability, down syndrome and physical difficulty clients. I support clients with various activities and their everyday basic life needs. I treat my clients fairly and encourage them to participate in their own care and support. I encourage my clients and promote their independence in all aspects of their lives. I adhere to my companies agreed ways of working and make sure that my clients needs, wishes, preferences and personal circumstances are met. I am aware of clients confidentiality and I have excellent communication skills and understand the importance of The Duty of Care.
