My compassionate nature for people has been practised while taking care of my grandparents, since my grandpa had a stroke and my grandma is hardly able to move.I also used to take care of my disabled friend, which was unable to move. I helped him with his education, I cooked for him and I was a good companion mostly between 2004-2008.My excellent personal care skills and high level of commitment to my work enable me help the elderly to maintain mobility through light work and walking. I also have a demonstrated ability to assist cognitive functioning through various methods such as conversation and playing chess. I am expert in grocery shopping for the household, able to plan and prepare nutritious meals, help with activities of daily living and personal care such as bathing, feeding dressing. I am enthusiastic about the Live-In Carer position and to work with a new family. I also worked 6 years year taking care of children and young adults every weekend, while being a Team Leader.
