I am a former Soldier and Police Officer now retired, I have worked in Social Care for the last 3 years since our move to Thetford, Norfolk. I have worked for Mencap, adults with learning disabilities, the Priory Group, children with complex behavioural problems and presently the National Autistic Society, adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
I enjoy working in Social Care but I do not feel fully satisfied or content and feel I have not quite found my niche yet. Looking for a new challenge. I feel due to my age (51) and maturity I would be better suited to a one to one level of care.
