I work as a Scheme Manager in Sheltered Housing, I have been in my current position since November 2004.
My job role is to ensure that the residents retain their independence and sustain their lifestyle within a safe environment.
Monitoring the day-to-day needs of residents
Ensuring the delivery of all aspects of support management functions, including maintaining accurate records
Liaising with maintenance contractors other agencies as appropriate.
Prior to this I worked for 2 years with people with mental health problems, again helping them maintain their independence in a safe environment.
Prior to this I worked for about 18 months as a visiting carer, providing personal care to clients in their own homes
I have worked as a live in carer with Able Care. I did this for about 2 years.
