Dear, my name is Agata .I'm not a nurse, but for last 8 years I was caring my Mum.She had dementia and other disease of old age.I did everything around her pushing her push-chair going for the walks, to the church,helped to wash, dressed up, I red her books,we simply be together everywhere, every time ... I lead her home-cooking, dusting, watering plants,washing and changing sheets, caring her dog, and so on, and so on......till she's gone.I learned all about old people needs,what to do when it's wrong, when to call doctor, when listen quietly taking only her hand ,when hug and smile.Now I'm ready to work, to give someone else my warm feeling of safe.This is the only way to fill the empty space after she gone..
