I am a hardworking individual who has just returned from a stint working abroad in Australia. My career to date has specialised in communications and although I have enjoyed my previous roles I know they aren’t what I want to do for the rest of my life. I am very interested in becoming a carer and would like to work towards a career in this field. I made a start on working towards this goal by spending four months working in a women’s refuge, providing practical and emotional support to women and children who had been the victims of domestic violence. I realise this experience is limited but would like to build on it if given the opportunity. I am keen to learn, great with people, enthusiastic and won’t rest until I get a job done.
