COMMUNITY/REHAB CARER-
I have worked as a support worker for Intermediate Care which is a rehab, helping people to be able to take care of themselves once they leave hospital. This includes working out in the community assisting nurses, in a bed based unit.
My role included:
• washing and dressing
• serving patients meals and assisting with feeding when necessary
• helping people to mobilize
• toileting
• bed making
• generally assisting with patients' overall comfort
• monitoring patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respiration and weight
I am a highly motivated and enthusiastic team player who is passionate about delivering high quality care. I believe that colleagues would describe me as Conscientious, courteous and punctual. I aim to respect and value the rights of a diverse range of colleagues, patients and relatives.
