I am currently working part time as a care assistant and study two days in a week.If I am given an opportunity to join your organisation I intend giving two weeks notice to my employer because that is what is expected of me.As a night carer my dutuies includes making sure service users are provided with high standard of care.Encouraging and prompting fluids.Promoting independence.Preventing and treatiing pressure sores Being assertive. Reporting and documenting any changes in service users behaviour or skin condition.Service users and their families satisfaction is very vital and I promote this by listening and obtaining feedback from them before making amendments or improvements depending on the situation.I am also interested in further training that will improve the quality and care I provide to service users.
