I have been a live in carer or over 5 years, prior to that I worked in the NHS. I was a technical instructor ( grade 1 ) attached to the physiotherapy unit. My role was to implement exercise regimes to both in and out patients in a mental health setting. I am qualified to teach exercise and also have a qualification in stress management.I have worked closely with other health professionals such as OT's. As in my previous work and as a carer I have experience of of working with many conditions such as Alzheimer's, MS, Parkinson's, dementia, stroke and MND.
