I would like to apply for a position of a live carer. Although I am a teacher by profession , I have over one-year experience looking after my mum who suffered from lung cancer and demanded 24/7 care for the last months of her life.
My daily caring activities involved: toileting, transport to appointments, cooking, administering medicine, companionship and, for the last months, changing nappies.
During that time I collaborated with professional nurses and carers learning all the necessary skills from them.
I believe that I will make a successful carer is my personality traits including patience, sensitivity , empathy, but also resilience and ability to work hard.

I would like to add that at present I am in Spain but I would like to relocate to the UK from January on.
