Personal Statement
During the past 14 years I have worked in various social and care settings:
• The elderly with a range of mental challenges e.g. dementia and depression in residential and care homes
• People with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour
• Homeless youth from care, prisons, broken homes etc at the YMCA – a large percentage of them on medication for depression and other mental health challenges
• Supported people with substance misuse problems who have approached our community outreach programmes at our church.
I am currently working as an agency mental health support worker and I am available immediately
