I am a 64 years old retired teacher with a back ground in nanny and elderly carer having Over five years experience working for NHS as carer arranging and juggling in and out activities with patients, negotiationg and providing emotional support with patience and love. Also a very good experience as a live-in carer where responsabilities have included assisting the lady with general housekeeping, maintenance, food preparation, driving and shopping. Next for a 87 y o gentleman with Alzheimer doing exactly the same.
In addition I cared for a mother with Alzheimer and it is this experience more than any other that has reinforced my commitment to provide care for the aged and less aged too. Give them the respect and confort they deserve.
