My name is Sylwia, I am 37 years old and I am Polish. Both of my parents had some kind of disabilites and required help with daily activities. My dad for the last 20 years of his life suffered from ankylosing spondylitis. My mom on the other hand has dementia and currentely stays in a residential house. I used to take care of my dad when living in Poland. Then I was helping with my mother. I was travelling to Poland quite often, sometimes even for few months to help with taking care for my mother when my dad's condition got worse. I am currentely looking for a change in my career. I would like to provide a good care for a person in need and develop my knowledge in this area.
