I am a healthy, hard working man in my mid sixties who now realises that he retired too early. After leaving the University of York in 2010 I soon realised that I needed more stimulation than I could find as a pensioner. I wanted to be working again. My experience over the last 3 years initially with York Council and more recently with Sainsburys is that I am happiest when doing something useful. And personal circumstances now make a job with accommodation particularly attractive.
