As a political science student I always wanted to change the world for a better place but then I had to realise that one person could not do it alone. However, what I can and want to do is to provide help and support someone in need and to make a difference in their life.
I have always had a kind, caring nature and empathy for people. I worked as an au-pair in England and Germany, where I learned how to look after children, to follow and help in their daily routine such as cooking, helping with dressing and bathing. I have also travelled a lot which helped to both widen my horizons and to develop an open mind.
I would like to provide care giving for elderly people on a more permanent basis as I have a desire to help people who need special care. This would also help me later as I pursue my education in nursing. I am quite comfortable with all aspects of this position and I believe that it will help me to gain invaluable experience in the field of healthcare. I am ready and willing to train and to develop my skills in this area.
I am enthusiastically applying for this position because I believe my natural ability and my personality will make me an ideal candidate for this role. I am organised and have a strong personality, very capable to deal with difficult situations.I communicate and get on well with others, and I am prepared to put in the extra effort required to make a difference.
Even though I do not have a wealth of experience in this field yet , I am determined and able to stand up to the challanges that this role will bring.
