I am an architect by profession, but for some years I have felt some disappointment with my work. For this past year I am living in India and doing volunteer work for an organisation called Embracing the World. Here I work in the recycling department and I am also involved with looking after a person with MS (she is in wheelchair). I was undertaking personal care duties including washing, feeding, manual handling and transfer and taking care of all her daily necessities.
I dont have much experience with live in care work but I am interested in providing a useful service to those who really need, I have the desire to serve others. I feel I have a kind and caring nature, I am valued for being hard working, reliable, flexible, able to work under pressure and I am physically and mentally strong.
